BFFR Business Challenge, proudly supported by TSFN
As Major Sponsor of the 2023 Bendigo Ford Fun Run, TSFN was engaged to help grow awareness of the event and attract a larger number of participants. Working closely with event organisers Geoff O'Sullivan and Nigel Preston, the TSFN Marketing Department was tasked to conceive, develop, and implement a new category in the 2023 Fun Run, along with a multi-channel promotional campaign.
Following finalisation of project and initial marketing campaign, The BFFR Business Challenge was launched at our office 21st December 2022. Key event stakeholders attended and enjoyed a BBQ lunch with the help of TSFN staff members.
TSFN Marketing handled Campaign Ideation, Digital Marketing, Video & Production, Social Media Advertising, Photography and Graphic Design, with key metrics being reach and business signups.
Event Success
After many months of hard work, March 5th finally arrived and it was an incredibly enjoyable and expertly executed day for all involved. Set amidst the stunning Rosalind Park in the heart of the city, the event witnessed an outstanding turnout of enthusiastic runners, joggers, walkers, families, and even wheelchair participants. A total of 1426 registrations were made across all categories, which exceeded last year’s total of 1005. TSFN’s Business Challenge, achieved some remarkable results with more than 38 eligible businesses signing up to participate in the 5km event.
The TSFN team attended a fundraising reveal event night at Red Energy Arenea, where it was announced that the event raised $40,000! A significant result and $15,000 more than the previous year’s efforts. Proceeds from the event went towards supporting a worthy cause, the construction of a brand-new children's outdoor rehabilitation play space at Bendigo Heath, via the Bendigo Health foundation.
