According to Susan, an original employee who helped start MyVet, the goal was to avoid the typical "grotty plastic chairs" and unpleasant decor often found in vet clinics, and create a space where both pets and their owners feel comfortable and at ease.

MyVet was established on November 1st, 2014, in the little house at 942 Wellington Street, Strathfieldsaye. Today, the clinic has grown to include a state-of-the-art facility that is three times the size of the original location and offers a wide range of services. The new architecturally designed facility is located at 914 Wellington Street, Strathfieldsaye.
The clinic is committed to supporting the local community by regularly showcasing the work of female artists from the area in its space. This not only helps to build a sense of connection and familiarity between clients and the clinic, but also supports local talent. In the coming months, the clinic will be displaying the work of artists from Donut Studios, a community-focused disability support program that offers a personalised, holistic approach to assisting individuals with NDIS funding to achieve personal, social, and creative growth and flourish.
