March was a momentous month that was jam-packed with exciting events, ranging from the Bendigo Ford Fun Run to the annual VIC/TAS First National Awards night.

To kickstart the month, TSFN had the pleasure to be a part of the Bendigo Ford Fun Run as naming sponsor and coordinator of the new 5km Business Challenge category. This event encourages businesses and their staff to enter the event to further support fundraising and participation efforts.

More than 38 eligible businesses eagerly signed up to participate together with a strong presence of TSFN staff participating and helping on the day. We’re thrilled to announce that the event raised $40,000 with proceeds going towards supporting a worthy cause, the construction of a brand-new children's outdoor rehabilitation play space at Bendigo Health, via the Bendigo Health Foundation. Congratulations to our business challenge award winners. Find out more here.

The start of the Autumn market has been showing encouraging signs of growth, with home values rising by 0.1% in February. Meanwhile, the national home value fell by -0.14%, which is the smallest amount since May 2022. These figures, provided by CoreLogic, indicate that we are either at or nearing the bottom of the property cycle, which is creating a balance between supply and demand. Therefore, sellers should not hesitate to list their properties in today's market.

Over to our Commercial Department, our team has been experiencing a sustained period of market strength since late January and a number of successful sales and leases during the past two months. Additionally, Commercial Leasing, Owners Corporation and the Residential Rental Department have been performing well and are expected to remain steady for the upcoming month.

This month we celebrated a milestone for one of our very own - Judi Ludeman! Judi has now been a valuable member of the TSFN team for 21 years. Her dedication and commitment to excellence over the years have been an inspiration. Congratulations Judi.

We also welcomed a new addition to the TSFN team - Macyden Gasper as our newest Senior Property Manager. Macyden has years of industry experience with her career beginning as a sales associate at a boutique residential development agency to property manager’s assistant for a large organisation.  Together with her passion and expertise, Macyden is a valuable asset to our Property Management Team.

We sadly bid farewell to three valued members of the TSFN team: Nathan Ludeman, Property Management Department Manager Philippa Quigley, Assistant Property Manager, and Elleah Blake, our seasoned Receptionist. Nathan’s involvement in the company spans over 15 years achieving the development of our market-leading Property Management Team and of being an integral element of the company’s growth and success. We extend our gratitude and best wishes to Nathan, Elleah and Pippa as they embark on new and exciting opportunities, their contributions to TSFN will be greatly missed.

On International Women's Day, we gathered together in the office, all the women, for a delightful coffee break filled with laughter and celebration. We take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to all the remarkable women in our lives, for their unwavering commitment to their work and the sacrifices they make for their families. At TSFN, we are incredibly fortunate to have a diverse and dynamic group of women in our workplace, including talented school leavers, dedicated mothers returning to work and experienced senior employees who generously share their wealth of knowledge with our team on a daily basis.

Bawa Singh, Senior Sales Consultant held a fun social media giveaway to mark the beginning of the 2023 AFL Season – Bawa gave away 5 soft touch Sherrin footballs to 5 lucky winners! Congratulations to the winners as we welcome back another exciting year of footy.
